This edible dough is easy to make and fun to play with. Children of all ages will enjoy this chance to play with their food with out getting into trouble. Added ingredients can be used to decorate little creations, such as shredded coconut, raisins, chocolate morsels, breakfast cereal or pretzels. Recipe makes plenty of dough for 2 children, and can easily be modified as needed.

[edit] Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of peanut butter (creamy works best, chunky works well, avoid the natural kind that requires refrigeration)
  • 2 cups dry milk
  • Honey to taste (optional)

[edit] How to make:

  • Mix the powdered milk, honey and the peanut butter in a bowl using your hands.
  • Knead until it starts to become stiff.
  • Form models and creations as you would playdough!
  • Store leftover dough in the refrigerator in a zip-top bag or covered container.

Enjoy!

Please note that children under a year of age should NEVER have honey due to the risk of botulism.
